Red Cherry Lashes: Haul/Review!

I recently got a big order of Red Cherry Lashes from MadameMadeline.com, and I've finally had the time to put them all on and review them!

It all came in a neat little box with coupons.
Madame Madeline was a great site to order from. I actually chose to order from them over another site because they other one wanted me to pay with Paypal (I'm not into that). I was able to find a $9 off coupon code online, and they sent me a free pair of lashes, just because!

I ordered for friends, too, so I think in all there were 19 pairs of lashes, 10 of which were mine.

Here's the size of the box, with my cat for reference.

I got style #43, #16, #DW, #WSP, #102, #62, and #83. I also got a couple pairs of bottom lashes which I will review separately. I've already posted some photos of style #83 here; I think they're my favorites!

I wore the same makeup for all of these: a simple, thin black line and small wing. However, the eyeliner took quite a beating, so it looks worse and worse as the photos go on... and I definitely had to thicken the line for the last two. I also left them all at the original length, with the exception of the #102s.

Here's a 2 minute video of how they all look on:

I'll go from least to most dramatic. LETS'S DO THIS.

Red Cherry #DW

I know, DW isn't a number. I'm just following what the box says.

These are medium length, fluttery lashes. They don't have much of a flair at all. They're a little thicker at the base than at the end, which helps with a thick looking lashline without the whole thing being over the top.

Red Cherry DW
These are SUPER subtle. They look great with no liner because of the clear strip.

Overall, a great choice if you're curious to try fake lashes for the first time, or want something natural for every day.

Red Cherry #WSP

These are basically the big sister of the DWs. Long, fluttery, wispy, as natural as it can look with their length.

Red Cherry WSP
These also look excellent without liner.

I totally forgot to take a profile shot of these, so here's a look I wore them in:

Naked 3 on the eyes

Revlon Mauvy Night on the lips
When I wear these, it's less of a "glam" look and feel, and more of a "holy shit how do you get your lashes so long and fluffy" look and feel.

Red Cherry #43

These are kind of like it Ardell's 105s and Demi Wispies had a love child. A pretty basic lash, fairly long and full, but not too crazy. They're really pretty and flattering with just about anything. They have a clear strip that's not too stiff, and the ends, although less wispy than DW and WSP, are fluttery enough to look semi natural.

These are just classic. These are the ones of which they sent me a free pair. I put them on my sister a few days ago, and an uncontrollable smile broke across her face when she saw them for the first time. You kind of can't go wrong with these, I think!

Red Cherry #16

Oh god, ok. So these. First of all, they're BEAUTIFUL. I adore them so much more than I thought I would. However, the strip is SO flimsy and floppy that they were pretty difficult to put on. It's also SUPER long. I will definitely trim these for normal wear! But once they were on, I didn't want to take them off because they were gorgeous.

LOOK AT THAT SHIT.

Red Cherry #16
Just saying. They're fucking fab, even with my eyeliner coming off.

Red Cherry #16
HHHNNNNNNNGGGGG

Other than the flimsy strip, these are amazing. The super long but varied lengths make these awesome, but with a cleaner, more dramatic look than the more natural DWs and WSPs.

Red Cherry #62

These aren't for the faint hearted. I actually really like these on, but they definitely need either a supe rpro person applying them, or black eyeliner to give some wiggle room. The strip is very stiff, and most definitely not clear.

Also, if these are flared at the outer edges, I definitely can't tell.

Definitely more punchy and dramatic than any of the others thus far! Like I said, they do have a very black, stiff strip, so it seems like doing no-liner looks with these would be a challenge. However, I do love the pointy look.

Red Cherry #102

Holy. Fuck. These are fantastic. SO thick at the base, all the way out to the ends, with little frizzly sprigs shooting out the ends like sparks from a fire. Or like lashes that you just can't keep from growing. Like some Rapunzel action on your eyes. I don't know, I get really into this shit and these lashes inspire the fuck out of me.

Just look at them.

Red Cherry #102
My eyeliner situation had majorly deteriorated by this time in my shooting, so I had to thicken the line to repair it.

Red Cherry #102
I did trim these from the inner corner when I wore them before I shot this review.

Holy nova.

I liked these so much I took a couple more photos.

Red Cherry #102
LOOK AT THEM. I can't get over it.

Red Cherry #102
Thick AND long AND dramatic AND wispy, all at the same time. It's like a combination of all the other lashes, all rolled into one amazing strip.

Thanks for viewing, hope this was helpful!

    1. Oh man, I'm not all that great at it! But, there's a Lisa Eldridge tutorial I watched last year that really helped me. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bx_l9_IoYB8 Another thing I do that seems to help is hold the outer corner in place as I stretch the inner corner in, then places it down. I really think it's mostly just practice, though.
